Everything you need to know about KidTales and its ecosystem: AI Storytime, Scholar, and kidtales.org.

KidTales is an AI-powered reading ecosystem that reaches kids through three paths: KidTales AI Storytime at home, KidTales Scholar in schools, and kidtales.org in communities that can't afford it. The same technology, three doors in.

Every story is narrated, illustrated, and scored with AI, and adjusted to each child's reading level. In KidTales Scholar, the system also recalibrates that level after every quiz, so the next story lands exactly where the child needs it.

It depends on the path: kidtales.org donates full licenses, at no cost, to public schools. KidTales Scholar offers a custom quote for each school. KidTales AI Storytime, the app for home use, is currently being rebuilt — join the waitlist to be the first to hear about its plans.

KidTales Scholar offers stories in 5 languages (Spanish, English, French, Chinese, and German), and each child has an independent reading level per language — they can read at a more advanced level in one than in another.

It's currently being rebuilt. We're building a new version, better than the last one. You can leave your email on the AI Storytime page, and we'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

Two things: every child gets a story leveled to their exact reading point (even by language), and that same technology doesn't stop at a single app — it also reaches entire schools and, at no cost, communities that couldn't otherwise afford it.

That's the problem we're built to solve: according to the World Bank (2022), around 65% of 10-year-olds in Latin America can't understand a simple text. KidTales Scholar levels every story using pedagogical frameworks like Lexile®, Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development, and Bloom's Taxonomy.

Reach out to us through the contact page, or share KidTales Scholar with your school's administration. If it's a public school that can't afford it, it can also apply for a donated license through kidtales.org.

It's the social-impact arm of the ecosystem: it donates the full adaptive-reading license to public schools that couldn't otherwise afford it, sustained by the schools that do pay for KidTales Scholar. In its own words, it's "justice, not charity."

In KidTales Scholar, data is isolated by institution, ARCO rights are respected, and the platform complies with Mexico's LFPDPPP data protection law. We never ask for data like national ID numbers (CURP), home addresses, or health information — only academic data.

KidTales Scholar doesn't have a single price: the rate is per student and decreases as the school grows, with no long-term contract required. Schedule a demo from the KidTales Scholar page to get a custom quote for your school.

Yes. Every story is narrated with expressive AI voices, designed to be read or listened to aloud — a different bedtime story every night, with the length and tone you choose.

KidTales isn't a clinical treatment, but its read-aloud narration and adjustable reading pace can make comprehension easier for kids with dyslexia or ADHD. If you're looking for specific support, always consult an education specialist.
