The problem driving the KidTales ecosystem
According to the World Bank (2022), nearly 65% of 10-year-olds in Latin America can't understand a simple text. That's the problem we're working to solve — and we believe no school should be left out of the solution just because it can't afford it.
How the program works
Funded by the schools that can pay
KidTales.org donates a complete adaptive AI reading license to public schools that couldn't otherwise afford it. The program is sustained by schools that do subscribe to KidTales Scholar: the same technology, the same quality, at no cost to the recipient school.

Helping hands
With Tec de Monterrey's Social Service Program
Donating a license is the first step, not the last. More than 70 students from Tec de Monterrey's Social Service Program (Estado de México and Santa Fe campuses) work alongside recipient schools, support teachers during rollout, and follow up to make sure adaptive reading doesn't just arrive — it actually works in the classroom. The child learns to read; the student learns to serve.
