1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of the KidTales application and related services. By installing, accessing, or using KidTales, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use.

2. Permitted Use

You agree to use the app solely for personal, educational, or recreational purposes. Reverse engineering, modifying, copying, sublicensing, or redistributing the software or its assets without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.

3. AI-Generated Content

Stories are automatically generated using artificial intelligence and may vary in accuracy, quality, or style. KidTales applies safety guidelines and content filters to promote child-appropriate material; however, we do not guarantee or assume responsibility for the final output. You acknowledge that AI content may occasionally contain errors or unintended elements.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for: (a) supervising use by minors; (b) ensuring device compatibility; (c) safeguarding login credentials where applicable; and (d) refraining from submitting unlawful, harmful, or infringing prompts.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, interfaces, trademarks, graphics, and underlying technology of KidTales are the exclusive property of KidTales or its licensors. Except for limited personal use, no part may be sold, publicly distributed, or commercially exploited without prior written consent.

6. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

KidTales offers in-app purchases including auto-renewable subscriptions and consumable items. All purchases are processed exclusively through Apple’s App Store. KidTales does not directly collect, store, or process payment information.

Subscriptions: Auto-renewable subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID and renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

Consumables: Consumable items (e.g., virtual gems or credits) are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may be lost if you uninstall the app or delete your account.

Refunds: Any refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple and are subject to Apple’s policies.

By completing an in-app purchase you acknowledge that Apple is the payment processor and KidTales has no access to your financial data.

7. Limitation of Liability

Use of the app is at your own risk. KidTales is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: service interruptions; device malfunction; data loss; or reliance on AI-generated content. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in such cases our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective once published inside the app or on our official site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
